You're invited to GIVING VOICE 2026 - ILI's annual fundraising event and celebration of the vibrant students, teachers, staff, volunteers and donors who make ILI your community language school. Please join us and meet friends, immigrant and refugee neighbors, and others who know firsthand how ILI changes lives through language!

For the first time this year: a new live auction item! Treat yourself to three nights at Standing Watch, a beautiful home on Peaks Island, across Casco Bay from Portland, ME. A gorgeous 1928 ocean-front updated home, sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms (2 w queen beds, 1 w 2 twins, and a queen sleeper sofa on the enclosed sun porch). Available anytime between September 9 and October 31, 2026, you’ll be just a 20 minute ferry ride (runs nearly every hour from 6 AM until midnight) from Portland and its insanely good gourmet food scene. We’re also thrilled to feature the live auction of a stunning Kate Childs oil painting and a fabulous silent auction of one-of-a-kind treasures like gourmet food and wine baskets, Peruvian textiles, gemstone jewelry, and a wonderful array of custom art pieces. All proceeds from the silent and live auction support ILI’s work of changing lives through language. Plus, this year's cash bar is sponsored by Gateway Fiber - don't miss the signature drinks!

We'll be asking you for a donation at the event. Help us reach our goal of $25,000.
